Oxalis tuberosa isolate:VIR Genome sequencing and assembly

Here, we present a de novo genome assembly of O. tuberosa, generated using a combination of Nanopore long-read and Illumina short-read sequencing. Oxalis tuberosa Molina plants, kindly provided by the N.I. Vavilov All-Russian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources (VIR), were used in this study. The tubers of this accession are white, elongated, possess deep eyes, and have a characteristically sour taste.
