Analytical Approaches for Assessing Endangered Ecological Communities

A study assessing spatial patterns of Box Gum Woodlands (BGW). The study area captures the entire range of the community in NSW. Full floristic surveys and statistical analyses were conducted to address three objectives.\r\n\r\n__Objective 1__. Assess the utility of using multiple analytical methods for assessing floristic patterns across a broad‐ranging community (BGW)\r\n\r\n__Objective 2__. Assess the relationship of floristic variability to landscape features for this broad‐ranging community (BGW)\r\n\r\n__Objective 3__. Determine whether current management and restoration planning based on expert judgement adequately allocate management to provide long‐term protection of the community\r\n\r\nThis study highlights the value of applying multiple analytical approaches to the understanding of floristic patterns.
