THE IMPORTANCE OF LEADERSHIP ABILITIES IN DEVELOPING STUDENTS' LANGUAGE SKILLS IN THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE MAJOR THROUGH THE PROJECT-BASED LEARNING METHOD

This article analyzes the pedagogical mechanisms for developing students’ leadership competence through the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in foreign language education. The study highlights the role of project-based instructional activities in enhancing students’ communicative competence, critical thinking, teamwork skills, and social engagement. The learner-centered nature of PBL, its capacity to promote independent learning, and its contribution to students’ personal and professional development through solving real-life problems are theoretically substantiated. The findings demonstrate that PBL serves as an effective pedagogical tool not only for improving language skills but also for fostering leadership qualities among students.
