Transcriptomic analysis of interactions between Acinetobacter baumannii phages and A549 epithelial and RAW 264.7 murine macrophages (PRJCA036687)

Phages, traditionally regarded as viruses targeting bacteria, have emerged as significant players in the human microbiome. While initially considered biologically inert towards mammalian cells, accumulating evidence demonstrates the contrary. In this study, we aimed to analyze the transcriptome of A549 and RAW 264.7 cells that have been challenged with six Acinetobacter baumannii phages to evaluate the impact of the phages on eukaryotic cells.
