资源简介:
The Law and Justice Foundation of New South Wales, known as the Law Foundation until 2000, was a fund established for the purposes of furthering legal education, legal research and law reform, and establishing, operating and maintaining law libraries. This series contains publications created by the Foundation. The Foundation co-published a range of books with publisher George Allen & Unwin Australia, while others were produced and distributed by the Foundation. Several publications were authored by Foundation employees, while others were commissioned. The publications include reports of general research projects with specific financial allocations where the authors are Foundation staff. The Grant Products series includes reports on the outcome of funded projects authored by grant recipients and reports by Foundation staff on travelling fellowships awarded under the Grants Program. Each Foundation centre published its own research and investigations. The centres established within the Foundation, such as the Centre for Legal Process (1996-1997), the Civil Justice Research Centre (1989-1995), later restructured as the Justice Research Centre (1995-2000), and the Centre for Plain Legal Language have copyright of their publications with the Law Foundation. The other centres, for example, the Communications Law Centre and the Centre for Legal Education acknowledge that they are an initiative of the Law Foundation but publish under their own name. With the establishment of the Law and Justice Foundation in 2000, the parameters of the grants program were redefined and the remaining centres became completely independent.A few publications are included that have been produced by the Foundation as a result of collaborative research projects with universities and are published in partnership with Federation Press under the Themis Press imprint. The series includes research publications by the centres established by the Law Foundation on different legal bases and changes over the life of the centres. The classification codes used in this series start with a prefix for the publisher, for example, Law Foundation (LF), Centre for Legal Education (CLE), Civil Justice Research Centre (CJRC), Justice Research Centre (JRC), Centre for Plain Legal Language (CPLL).Each classification code used for an item consists of a prefix for the publisher, a publication year and a running number. For example, CPLL 1994/07 is a publication by the Centre for Plain Legal Language in 1994 and is number seven in the list.
