资源简介:

This dataset is a multi-dimensional global food inflation resource specifically designed for deep learning early warning systems. It covers 93 countries on five continents. The time span of the dataset extends from January 2001 to January 2026, providing high-frequency monthly observation samples for up to 25 years, aiming to objectively record the dynamic evolution process of global food prices under different economic cycles and sudden shocks. In terms of indicator system construction, the dataset integrates 21 multi-source indicators from authoritative organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The indicators are systematically divided into three pillar dimensions: the economic dimension covers core food inflation rates, macroeconomic variables, and import and export trade values of major agricultural products; In the climate dimension, precipitation, land surface temperature, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI) and Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) were introduced to quantify the impact of environmental fluctuations on prices. The social dimension complements demographic changes, refugee movements, and economic losses caused by natural disasters to construct a comprehensive risk assessment space. For detailed definitions of each indicator, units of measurement, and data sources, please refer to Section 2.2 of this README, which provides a thorough metadata description of all 21 indicators across the three dimensions.
