This dataset contains CTD (Conductivity, Temperature, and Depth) profiles and backscatter data collected by the USGS during bird surveys in Lower Cook Inlet from 2005 to 2007. Data were recorded using an SBE-19+ CTD and a backscattering meter during transect surveys. The raw profiles were initially stored in Excel files and were later combined with positional data and converted into CSV format.
