The Travel Survey is conducted four times a year, once every quarter. The main purpose of the survey is to map out the travel habits of Norwegians in Norway and abroad. In addition to data on Norwegians' travel habits, data is also collected on cross-border trade, cultural monuments and cultural environments, use of tobacco and alcohol, wood burning, influenza vaccine, and attitudes towards immigration. Some topics are included every quarter, while others are included only once or twice a year.
For each quarter of 2022, a sample of 2 000 people ages 16 to 79 was drawn. In the fourth quarter, an additional 1 000 people were drawn who only got questions about tobacco and alcohol. This is data for 3rd quarter of 2022.
