Screening and characterization of myclobutani degrading bacteria

Taking myclobutanil as the target removal, a highly efficient degrading strain TF-2 capable of using myclobutanil as the sole carbon source and nitrogen source was isolated from the activated sludge of a domesticated sewage treatment plant. The strain was identified by morphological observation, physiological and biochemical experiments, 16 S rRNA gene sequencing and phylogenetic tree analysis. The characteristics of the strain were determined by physiological and biochemical and microbial degradation experiments. Through the identification of degradation intermediates, the mechanism of degradation of myclobutanil by TF-2 strain was proposed.
