Responses of primary AML cells to atorvastatin and simvastatin

Both, the statin sensitive and resistant AML specimens up-regulate in response to statins expression of genes in mevalonate pathway, but only the resistant cells also respond with activated transcription of MTORC1 pathway genes. Overall design: Atorvastatin and simvastatin responses of five statin sensitive and five statin resistant specimens were analyzed. For each specimen, 0.1% DMSO (vehicle control) was used as a negative control.
