Most used operating system for OpenStack cloud deployments globally 2023

Ubuntu server and CentOS are the two most commonly used operating systems running OpenStack cloud deployments worldwide, according to the OpenStack User Survey in 2023. As of that time, a staggering 47 percent of respondents reported the use of Ubuntu server in their organizations, while 27 percent reported using CentOS.
