Vanadium data from offline campaign at IGISOL Jyvaskyla Finland.

The data collected in this repository were produced during an offline experiment at the IGISOL facility, University of Jyväskylä, using the Collinear Laser Spectroscopy (CLS) beamline to measure a set of 11 ionic transitions for Vanadium 50 and 51. The experimental data are stored in ASDF format and can be processed using the provided Python analysis script, adapted from https://github.com/andry3vi/cls_tools.git . Each dataset contains event-based records including the timestamp, scanning voltage step, photomultiplier channel (TDC), RFQ voltage monitor value, and laser setpoint. The raw data are processed to reconstruct the spectrum of detected events as a function of frequency in the rest frame of the ions. Fitting of the reconstructed spectra with the correct hyperfine model allows the extraction of the hyperfine structure parameters as well as the centroid frequency for each transition.
