资源简介:
Eight long-term moorings were deployed in the Eurasian and Makarov Basins of the Arctic Ocean during the Nansen and Amundsen Basins Observational System (NABOS) 2021 cruise. Four of those moorings were equipped with McLane Moored Profiler (MMP) profilers. They were successfully recovered in September 2023. The primary goal of the mooring observations was to understand the role of stratification in controlling the transport of heat and other properties of Atlantic Water to the upper ocean and ice, specifically quantifying the structure and temporal variability of the main water masses, as well as obtaining detailed information about upper ocean, halocline, AW layer dynamics, and seasonal variations. This archive includes MMP measurements of temperature, salinity, and ocean velocities collected at MB1, MB5, MB6, and MB7 NABOS moorings in 2021-2023. The dataset contains MMP measurements and files with time stamps for each MMP profile.
