HIV-1 J-Lat 10.6 cell line was sequenced using an Oxford Nanopore MinION sequencer with R9.4.1 and R10.3 flow cells. These were used to generate HIV-Quasipore: A suite of HIV-specific fast, high accuracy, and super accuracy Nanopore basecallers that overcome Nanopore's traditionally high error rate for both R9.4.1 and R10.3 flow cells.Using Nanopore sequencing can allow investigators to explore topics, such as vQS profile detection, HIV-1 integration site analysis, whole genome amplification, gene co-evolution, and CRISPR-induced indel detection, to name a few.
