Hot water immersion as a heat acclimation strategy in an older population: A pilot study
Dataset supporting the study “Hot water immersion as a heat acclimation strategy in an older population: A pilot study”. The dataset contains anonymised physiological, perceptual and hydration data collected from nine moderately trained older adults who completed two 45-minute hot water immersion conditions at 40°C: full immersion to the base of the neck and partial immersion to the sternum. The deposited files include the data used for the statistical analyses reported in the manuscript, together with the associated JASP analysis files. Outcomes include core and skin temperature, heart rate, hydration measures, thermal sensation and comfort, affective responses, and mood measures. All participant data have been anonymised.
