Gut microbiome of wild baboons

Raw 16S rRNA sequencing reads collected from samples from 178 samples from 78 adult baboons in two social groups during July - August 2012. The goal of this study was to test how host social context, including group living, social interactions within groups, and transfer between social groups (e.g., dispersal) predict inter-individual variation in gut microbial alpha and beta diversity.
