Updated TCGA glioma classification through integration of molecular data following the 2021 WHO guidelines

Resumes the sample classification provided by Method-2021. This 1110 x 5 matrix reports, for each sample, the corresponding histological type currently available on TCGA (“TCGA-histological.type” column), the exact type nomenclature assigned by our method, in accordance with the 2021 WHO CNS taxonomy (“classification.2021_complete.labels” column), as well as the simplified name we attributed (“classification.2021_simplified.labels” column). The WHO-2021 nomenclature terms considered were: “astrocytoma_IDHmut” (if IDHmut without 1p/19qcodel), “olgodendroglioma_IDHmut_1p19qcodel” (if IDHmut with 1p/19q codel), “glioblastoma_IDHwt” (if IDHwt + histological or genetic hallmarks) and “unclassified” (in case of<br>missing information).
