Aim:1.Assess the genotypes of Mycoplasma pneumoniae(M. pneumoniae)presented in Henan, China during the years 2019â 2023 and proportion changed over time. We were also interested in the presence of macrolide resistance(MR) mycoplasma pneumoniae. 2.To find the reason of the severe M. pneumoniae epidemic in 2023. Method: We performed multilocus variable-number tandem-repeat (VNTR) analysis (MLVA), MLST typing, and mutation typing in the 23S rRNA gene from 417 M. pneumoniae clinical isolates. Result: Our analysis suggests two major MLVA types: 4572 and 3562. In 2019-2023, The predominant MLVA type sway varied between 4572 and 3562. In general, the multilocus sequence typing (MLST) types are main MLST type 3 and 14. The analysis of MR mutations showed that 97.4% of the isolates had an A2063G mutation in the 23S rRNA gene and one isolate carrying an A2064G mutation. Keywords:Mycoplasma pneumoniae. MLVA. MLST.
