Phosphate solubilizing fungus identified from rhizosphere soil. Aspergillus sp. PSFR

Phosphate solubilizing microorganisms (PSMs) can improve the bio-availability of Phosphorous (P) in an environmentally friendly and economically feasible way. This efficient Phosphate solubilizing fungus was identified from Sri Lankan soil and were used to improve the solubility of Eppawala rock phosphate (ERP). It was applied directly as P bio-fertilizers and used to produce liquid P fertilizer in order improve the P nutrition of plants.
