Film Capacitor Volume Model and Dataset

This dataset contains measurements and curated specifications of film capacitors used in power-electronics EMI filters. Each record includes capacitance (F), rated voltage (V), dielectric type, case size, ESR, and the target variable: physical volume (cm\u00b3). The accompanying regression baseline predicts volume from electrical ratings (e.g., C, V, and CV\u00b2). Data were collected from vendor datasheets and lab verification, cleaned with consistent units, and validated by cross-checks. The CSV is intended for sizing studies, volume modeling, and reproducible comparisons in power and energy applications.
