This dataset is an important component of the observation and research on multi-sphere changes of the Earth system in the Lhasa River Basin. It comprises real-time monitoring data of atmospheric environmental quality collected in the Kuoqinggangri Glacier Area, the upper reaches of the basin. The main monitored indicators include particulate matter (PM10, PM2.5), sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and ozone. This dataset has undergone data quality verification by staff from the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research (STEP) Office, with a temporal resolution of 1 hour. As real-time, multi-parameter monitoring data from the natural process-dominated region in the upper reaches of the Lhasa River Basin, this dataset can provide high-resolution data support for studies on regional environmental changes under the combined impact of global change and human activities. By analyzing the atmospheric environmental quality data from this natural process-dominated region and combining it with relevant atmospheric environmental quality monitoring data from the downstream area, it can offer a scientific basis for evaluating the risk status of regional atmospheric environmental quality.
