Escherichia coli Genome sequencing and assembly

This project aims to investigate the genetic characteristics of ESBL-producing Escherichia coli isolated from clinical cases. Using whole-genome sequencing (WGS), we will identify resistance genes, virulence factors, and potential transmission pathways. The findings will improve our understanding of antimicrobial resistance mechanisms, support the development of targeted treatment strategies, and provide valuable data for public health and infection control measures.
