Ocean Front Shifts and Sea Temperatures in the Pacific Southern Ocean during the Mid-Pleistocene Transition

This dataset contains sea surface temperature (SST) reconstructions and associated weighted standard deviations for each downcore sample from IODP Site U1539, located in the central South Pacific. SSTs were estimated using the Modern Analog Technique based on planktic foraminiferal assemblages. The data cover the Mid-Pleistocene Transition (~1.2–0.7 million years ago), a key interval in Earth's climate evolution.本数据集包含采自南太平洋中部国际大洋发现计划（IODP）U1539站位的全部钻孔岩芯样品的海表温度（SST）重建结果，以及各对应样品的加权标准差。海表温度的估算基于浮游有孔虫组合，采用现代类比法（Modern Analog Technique）完成。该数据集覆盖了地球气候演化的关键时段——中更新世过渡期（Mid-Pleistocene Transition，约120万~70万年前）。
