Echoes of Language Learning: Unraveling Challenges in English Department Students Listening and Speaking Skills

This study looks into the difficulties students in the English department have while improving their speaking and listening abilities. The research investigates the effects of socio-cultural and educational backgrounds, instructional practices, and learner efforts on performance through interviews with thirty current students, ten graduates, and nine teachers from private and public colleges in Dhaka. The findings are intended to give educators, managers, and legislators important information on language education.
