In this project a spasticity model is created in OpenSim. This model is implemented by means of a controller plugin. This so-called Spastic Controller is a controller that adds a spasticity effect to any Thelen2003Muscle to which it is assigned in an OpenSim model. The controller will excite the muscle to which it is assigned when the muscle fibers of this muscle are stretched. The Spastic Controller is developed and validated using experimental data of an instrumented clinical spasticity test. <br/><br/>This project includes the following software/data packages: <br/> <ul> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=678#pack_1107">Spastic Controller Main C++ </a> : This contains the ControllerExample Main cpp file (with Tug-of-War example), in which one of the muscles is made spastic by adding a spastic controller. This folder is useful for editing and debugging the spastic controller. </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=678#pack_1108">Spastic Controller Plugin C++ </a> : This contains the same Spastic Controller files as Spastic Controller cpp files (with a few minor changes needed for the plug-in), together with the general files needed to make a plug-in (derived from the AnalysisPlugin example). This folder is useful for creating the plug-in. </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=678#pack_1109">Spastic Controller Plugin dll </a> : dll file that can be directly added to OpenSim plugin folder. Created in Visual Studio 2010 express. </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=678#pack_1433">Spasticity plugin Osim3.0 </a> : New version of spasticity plugin working for OpenSim 3.0. This zip file contains two folders: one with SpasticController source code and one with SpasticControllerPlugin code (similar but adjusted to make a plugin). The Build/RelWithDebInfo folder contain the actual spasticControllerPlugin.dll </li> </ul>
