资源简介:
The i.t.a. Society of Victoria Guide to Records documents and contextualises the records of the Initial Teaching Alphabet Society of Victoria, which promoted the use of the initial teaching alphabet as a medium for the initial learning of reading. The collection documents the work of the Initial Teaching Alphabet Association in promoting the use of the initial teaching alphabet as a medium for the initial learning of reading. The collection documented by the Guide consists of 470 inventory items, mostly paper format files, grouped into ten series. The total collection occupies 370 linear cm of shelf space (or its equivalent).
The Guide is the output of a research database. It was published online by the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre in November 2001. Work on the records was started in 1992 by the Australian Science Archives Project.
The collection is located at the State Library of Victoria. It was listed by Helen Barber, Lisa Cianci, Gavan McCarthy, Lisa O'Sullivan and Rachel Tropea.
