Whole Genome Sequence of Clumpy E. coli and its deletion mutants

Whole genome was extracted of each of the Clumpy E. coli 4972 and gene deletion mutants by Qiacube using Qiagen DNA extraction kit (QIAGEN, Netherlands) and were sent to Novogene, UK for whole genome sequencing with Illumina Mi-Seq (Illumina). For single-nucleotide polymorphism search, the reads obtained for each isolate were mapped against a reference genome using bwa. Mapped reads were individually analysed with Artemis. Whole genomes of all deletion mutant strains were compared to the WT genome to identify the Single nucleptide polymorphisms (SNPs).
