Benthic biofilm structure and function under abrupt flow changes (dataset)

These published data were used to investigate changes in benthic reservoir micro-organism communities, sediment biochemical properties and sediment adhesion in relation to changes in hydrodynamic conditions and their adaptation to higher flow conditions. The manuscript is entitled “Benthic biofilm structure and function under abrupt flow changes” by Hope et al., 2025. It should be noted that many of these data have been transformed or standardised for further statistical analyses, in Primer V6. Below is a description of each .csv file and how they are used in the analyses for the published paper but further details can be found in the publication and the supplementary material.
