Simulation of coastal urban construction land based on the perspective of the Offshore Island Connection Line

We proposed a research perspective based on the established boundary delineation known as the Offshore Island Connection Line (OICL) using the supervised classification results from three phases of remote sensing images from 2000 to 2020 along with topography, traffic, planning, and other influencing factors as control conditions. We constructed an artificial neural network cellular automata model from the perspective of the OICL, named as OICL-ANN-CA, and simulated the distribution patterns of urban construction land development in the Jinpu New Area in Dalian City, China for 2035 under multiple scenarios with Geographical Simulation and Optimization Systems.
