It also includes combinations of these ingredients with other antihypertensive medications. This code list was generated by taking the descendants of all the 'other' antihypertensive ingredients of interest, and also doing string matching on the concept_name of the ingredient. This broad concept set was intended to identify patients who received 'other' antihypertensive ingredient not listed as RAAS blockers, calcium channel blockers, beta-blockers, or diuretics. Limited to RxNorm and RxNorm Extension codes. Technical Note: This concept set was created when ingredients were required for some sites.
