Data and code for: Checking a published carbon footprint against its own document - an audit of 111 product disclosures for data-centre hardware
收藏资源简介:
Replication package for a study auditing what a reader can check inside published product carbon footprint (PCF) disclosures for data-centre hardware. 111 documents from four vendors were retrieved and archived between 29 and 31 October 2026, and each was asked three separate questions: whether its headline figure is determined by the other quantities printed in the same document, without importing an assumption the document does not state; whether printed absolute component values close on the printed total; and whether the printed summary statistics could all belong to one probability distribution, tested only with distribution-free bounds. The package contains the 111 archived source documents, a per-document master table carrying every printed value and every verdict together with a SHA-256 prefix for each file, and the complete extraction and analysis code. Every table, figure and number in the paper is generated from the master table; nothing is counted by hand. A clean extraction followed by a rebuild reproduces the master table byte for byte. See README.md for the commands and for the poppler-utils dependency.
