Brazil Pix and Local Banking Concentration: Results Replication Package
收藏资源简介:
This replication package contains the data, code, and generated outputs for a study of how pre-existing local banking-market concentration shaped the adoption and use of Pix, Brazil’s instant payment system, by businesses. The main empirical result is that municipalities with more concentrated pre-Pix local deposit markets exhibit weaker post-launch business Pix activity, including lower business transaction intensity, fewer active business receivers, and lower Pix value measures. The package also includes PJ/PF stacked comparisons, business-denominator specifications, market-thickness checks, common-support diagnostics, access-margin diagnostics, and alternative exposure-window robustness results. The archive includes a frozen cleaned analysis panel, reproducible Python scripts, reference CSV/DOCX/XLSX tables, PDF/PNG figures, QA checks, file manifests, and documentation. It supports two use paths: exact reproduction from the cleaned analysis input, and a public-source rebuild/audit path for the underlying source layers.
