Annual Load Factors by Sector (%)

This dataset presents the annual load factor percentages for different electricity demand types in Qatar, including system-wide, industrial, and domestic. The load factor measures the efficiency of electricity usage relative to peak demand. These indicators are useful for energy planning, infrastructure optimization, and identifying demand management opportunities.
Note: Starting 2020, load factors calculations have been revised by including assist generation which is captive generation from some of the bulk customers and auxiliary power from QEWC stations and including Qatalum tempoarary load.
