Western Blot Watermark Verification Registry — Perpetual Public Ledger

This record provides the perpetual public verification registry for all Western blot datasets deposited by the GCB Lab_@RSocodato. The registry functions as a cumulative ledger, mapping watermark IDs to their corresponding pristine source images across legacy, historical, and new datasets. Each new version expands the record with additional distributions, while preserving all earlier entries for full backward compatibility. The registry files (master_watermark_verification_registry.csv and master_watermark_verification_registry.json) document: Watermark IDs and short codes embedded in every distributed verification copy Original filenames and Zenodo-issued MD5 checksums from the pristine datasets (restricted-access Data DOIs) Hashes of watermarked files (MD5 and SHA256) to enable tamper-evident verification Distribution metadata (date of issue, recipient code, run tag, status, purpose) Cross-references to both the source Data DOIs and the independent third-party authentication certificates By design, this registry is public and perpetual, ensuring that any distributed verification copy of a Western blot image — whether from past, ongoing, or future projects — can always be independently traced back to its pristine origin. Note: This registry does not contain the original image data. Pristine high-resolution TIFFs remain deposited under their respective restricted-access Data DOIs.
