UPV_RIR_DB: Multichannel Room Impulse Response Dataset Measured at Universitat Politècnica de València
收藏资源简介:
v.02: "Readme.md" updated and new file "Master_coordinates.xlsx" included. UPV_RIR_DB is a structured database of measured room impulse responses (RIRs) designed to provide acoustic data with explicit spatial metadata and traceable acquisition parameters. The dataset currently contains 166 multichannel RIR files measured in three rooms of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Each multichannel RIR file contains impulse responses for multiple source–receiver pairs, with each pair covering a 25 cm2 area — the typical size of a personal sound zone. Considering the number of sources and receiver channels associated with each microphone modality, the database contains a total of 18,976 single impulse responses. A hierarchical organization is adopted in which directory structure and metadata jointly describe the measurement context. Each room includes a metadata file containing acquisition parameters, hardware description, spatial coordinates of zones and microphones, and acoustic indicators such as reverberation time. A central index links each RIR file with its experimental context, ensuring traceability and enabling reproducible analysis. The resulting database provides a consistent framework for storing, inspecting, and reusing real RIR measurements while preserving compatibility with both MATLAB- and JSON-based workflows. Dataset essentials: • 166 multichannel RIR recordings • 18,976 individual impulse responses • 8 sound sources per measurement Rooms included in the current release: Room_Teleco_4D26: 11.73m x 5.85m x 2.98 m Room_Teleco_4P13: 7.80m x 8.57m x 2.85 m. Room_iTEAM_8G4C: 3.58m x 7.78m x 2.80 m. Each room is distributed as an independent archive to facilitate partial downloads. Measurement modalities included in the dataset: • AR — multichannel microphone array measurements • DH — dummy head binaural measurements • BI — binaural interaction measurements recorded along predefined user trajectories For the BI modality, additional contextual metadata is recorded during acquisition, including: • a camera snapshot captured at the moment of the RIR measurement • a JSON file containing the user position estimated by the camera tracking system The dataset also includes calibration files, configuration files describing hardware and loudspeaker mapping, and a global coordinate reference file (Master_coordinates.xlsx). A short paper describing the dataset structure and acquisition protocol is included in the repository.
