The information given in each register includes: local number of application; date of application; names of applicants; description of lease; area; amount paid; date of notice to survey; name of surveyor; and when sent to the Warden or Department. At the back of volume 3/1797 there are pencil entries which appear to be gold applications for 14 October 1892 to 27 July 1894. (3/1797-98). 2 vols.
