Secondary school students' perceptions of online information verification habits

Perceptions of secondary school students (n = 72) regarding their digital skills and their habits of verifying information online and detecting fake news and hate speech, in relation to their academic performance in Geography and History and their internet usage time. The sample is a convenience sample obtained in a rural high school in the municipality of Toledo in the region of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain).
