Whole-genome sequencing of Paenibacillus larvae

A total of 59 outbreak-associated Paenibacillus larvae isolates obtained from an outbreak of American foulbrood in Slovenia in 2019 underwent whole-genome sequencing. Of these, 40 isolates originated from a single beekeeping operation to assess the genetic diversity of P. larvae at different levels (beekeeping operation, apiary and colony).
