The effect of maternal protein restriction diet on liver enhancer activity in the early life of male mice offspring

Low birth weight (LBW) mouse model was established by means of maternal PRD during pregnancy and lactation. Male offspring livers were collected at the age of 4 weeks and 7 weeks, respectively. Global run-on sequencing (GRO-seq) and RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) was performed to identify differentially expressed active genes and associated enhancers between maternal PRD and normal chow. Bioinformatic tools were used for analysing GRO-seq data.
