Complete genome of Citrobacter freundii sp. PSV, isolated from a crude-oil-degrading consortium

Citrobacter freundii sp. PSV was isolated from a crude-oil-degrading consortium of a water-treatment plant of Arzew oil refinery, Algeria. Its genomic DNA was sequenced using Illumina MiSeq (2x150bp short read pairs) and Oxford Nanopore (long reads) technologies and assembled using Unicycler. The genome is composed of one 5.23 Mb circular chromosome and one plasmid of 295.41 kb.
