The purpose of this project is to find out how oral supplementation of flaxseed lignan or alpha-cyclodextrin affects the gut microbiota of healthy Japanese. For investigation of the microbiota, sequencing of V4 region of 16S rRNA gene using DNA extracted from faeces are performed.
