Transparency is an optical index of water turbidity. It refers to the degree of light passing through water. It is closely related to optical attenuation coefficient and diffuse attenuation coefficient. The structure of lake aquatic ecosystem is directly related to solar radiation, so it is also directly related to water transparency. Algae, phytoplankton and large aquatic plants in lakes are the basis of photosynthesis in aquatic ecosystems. The distribution of these primary producers mainly depends on the light radiation determined by water transparency. The Secchi disk method, SD for short, is generally used to measure water transparency in centimeters (cm). This data set is based on Sentinel 2A/B sensor data. It contains two bands. The first band is water transparency, and the second band is the amount of data used in seasonal synthesis. Including areas: Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Sri Lanka, Indiana.
