Advanced Histogram Equalization Based on Hybrid Saliency Map and Novel Visual Prior

The traditional gray scale histogram is constructed by counting all pixels of the image simply, hence the Histogram Equalization (HE) technique has fundamental defects such as over-enhancement, under-enhancement, and brightness drifting for a long time. We propose an algorithm to improve the contrast of the image effectively, generate better subjective visual perception, and realize better performance broadly.
