On the 14 October 2025, a heavy rainfall is reported to have affected the north-western region of Panama. The event is on-going and the Panamanian Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA) has requested an assessment of the impact of these rains and possible flash floods in the area. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping is requested to provide flood extent damage assessment emergency mapping.
