"Br. Hauffe in seinem Studierzimmer in Utengule." ("Brother Hauffe in his study in Utengule."). Hauffe is sitting at a desk and reading a book. On the desk: a lamp, a bouquet of roses, a small plant, a photograph. The desk is next to a window. On the left: a calendar on the wall.; Werner Hauffe (1909-1982) was a carpenter and later a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. From 1933 to 1939, he served in Rungwe, Utengule and Isoko. In Utengule, he was an assistant to Brother Gemuseus. In 1937 he married Irmgard Wolff.
