资源简介:
Per-particle recruitment outcomes for Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) larvae, covering 32 spawning years (1994–2025) across CCAMLR Statistical Areas 48.1–48.6 and 88.3. Output from a 3D Lagrangian particle tracking hindcast (Parcels) forced by GLORYS12v1 ocean reanalysis.
Each particle is classified into one of eight mutually exclusive outcome states:- success: reached larval stage FIV on shelf-slope (< 2000 m) at winter sea-ice advance- killed_M1: ice at spawning (SIC ≥ 80% at release position on release day)- killed_M4: calyptope starvation (more than 10 consecutive days SIC > 40% during calyptope window)- killed_M5_no_FIV: under-developed at sea-ice advance (stage < FIV)- killed_M5_not_on_shelf: off-shelf at sea-ice advance (bathymetry ≥ 2000 m)- killed_M6_no_advance: no winter ice encountered within 200-day tracking window- censored: alive at tracking cutoff with rising SIC (provisional classification)- exited_domain: deleted at model domain boundary
Dataset structure: 32 tar.gz archives (one per spawning year, 1994–2025), each containing ~121 NetCDF4 files (one per release date YYYY_MM_DD.nc). Each file contains ~500,000 particle records with release position/depth, fate position/depth, travel time, path length, temperature trajectory, and outcome flag.

Produced in support of Gourgue et al. (2026), "Sea-ice timing governs the January peak and regional asymmetries in Antarctic krill larval recruitment."
