Meteorological measurements at Governor Head, Jervis Bay between 02/11/88 and 31/10/90: 1 hour averages

This dataset is a component of the 'Jervis Bay Baseline Studies' project conducted by the Department of Defence, CSIRO and the Australian Defence Force Academy.\n\nThe meteorological station (35.133S, 150.762E) was located several hundred metres inland of 50m high cliffs and was 63m above sea-level. This record contains 3 datasets. The first two contain data relating to wind velocity, direction (E/W and N/S components) and atmospheric pressure for the time periods 02/11/88-29/01/90 and 10/08/90-31/10/90. The third dataset provides cross- and long-shore wind velocities for the first sampling period between 02/11/88-29/01/90.\n\nIn these datasets samples have been averaged to provide an hourly mean. Data is presented in the 'ocean format' i.e. "direction going to".\n\nThis is one of thirty-six child records that relate to the parent, 629051e0-2b7b-11dd-a343-00188b4c0af8.
