Electronic Files of Shear-Wave Velocity and Cone Penetration Test Measurements from the Charleston Quadrangle, South Carolina

Electronic files of shear-wave velocity (Vs) and Cone Penetration Test (CPT) measurements from 110 investigation sites in the 1:24,000 Charleston Quadrangle are presented in this report. Of the 110 investigation sites, 60 are where Vs measurements were conducted, including 54 sites tested by the seismic CPT method. The other 50 sites are CPT sites where no Vs measurements were conducted. Also presented is available summary information for each site, including the latitude and longitude coordinates, the surficial geology, the maximum test depth, the groundwater table depth, the type of test, and the sources of test data. Several test locations lie within the af and Qws surficial deposits mapped by Weems and Lemon. Fewer test locations lie within the Qht, Qhec, Qhes, and Qwc surficial deposits. No test results were available for the Qal and Qwls surficial deposits.
