CryoSat-2 and SMOS derived fields of sea ice thickness in the Beaufort Sea: 2011-2016.

This dataset was developed from Cryosat-2 and SMOS to provide monthly mean fields of ice thickness in the Beaufort Sea. The dataset runs from 2011 to 2016 and covers the months of November to April, when the liquid water is not present at the top surface of the ice. The dataset provides information on the seasonal thickening of the sea ice cover as well as interannual variability in ice thickness across the 6 years.
