CryoSat-2 and SMOS derived fields of sea ice thickness in the Beaufort Sea: 2011-2016.

This dataset was developed from Cryosat-2 and SMOS to provide monthly mean fields of ice thickness in the Beaufort Sea. The dataset runs from 2011 to 2016 and covers the months of November to April, when the liquid water is not present at the top surface of the ice. The dataset provides information on the seasonal thickening of the sea ice cover as well as interannual variability in ice thickness across the 6 years.本数据集基于Cryosat-2与SMOS研制，旨在提供波弗特海（Beaufort Sea）的海冰厚度月均场。该数据集的时间跨度为2011年至2016年，覆盖每年11月至次年4月，此阶段海冰表层无液态水存在。本数据集可提供海冰覆盖的季节增厚信息，以及这6年间海冰厚度的年际变化特征。
